Dry Valleys Nunataks Volcanoes
Terrain affects FLAURA and FAUNA!
Animals have adapted to the harsh weather patterns of the arctic from the start! They need blubber, tightly packed feathers, long hair.... The wind is extreme and these animals need all of these protectors to keep them warm, dry....Animals can't travel as fast or as far, food is hard to find so they learn to go hungry for days before finding a meal. Ex.Polar Bears.
Plants are also affected by the terrain of the PI Biome. They grow close together and close to the ground to avoid winds and other harsh weather patterns. Dry valleys are a place where more plants grow because there is little to no snow.

Greenland
Greenland is not just a huge ice sheet, although it is 81% Ice! There are other interesting parts of land that are visible on Greenland. Near Greenland Coast and Baffin Bay, the land is mountanious and icy. Along Greenland you will find flat or gradually sloping icecaps, dry valleys, Nunataks and possibly volcanoes! Greenlands coastline is narrow, mountainous, barren, and rocky.
Antarctica
Antarctica is mainly ice! Less than 1% is not covered in ice! There are many mountain ranges, including The Antarctic Peninsula which ranges 1700km! Also another large mountain range is The Transantarctic Mountains which are about 3000km! The highest mountain is Vinso Massif in Ellsworth Mountains, some peaks are around 4897m! Also in Antarctica, there are many Nunataks, Volcanoes and Dry Valleys!
