The Weather in the Permanent Ice Biome
This may surprise you but the Permanent Ice Biome is dry. The reason is due to the fact that the this Biome only receives 166 millimeters per year. In Antarctica Storms are caused when the temperature starts to drop. This leads to a large pressure difference which causes these storms to take form. These storms are usually referred as cyclonic activity. But these storms are carrying warm moisture so they don't usually make it far inland. The only problem with these storms is it picks up the loose snow or ice and whirls it around so it starts to become more of a hazard. If thats not enough these storms can start from 28 km an hour and can go to ( when they are big) 56 km an hour. These storms will occur in the winter time due the change in temperature and as well as that big pressure difference.
